The "Colour of the Month" series returns 38 years later – celebrating a piece of Nike history that saved the AF1 silhouette from extinction. The original “Colour of the Month” series debuted back in 1984 as a reissue of the Air Force 1 was uncertain in the shoe's early days, however, three sport shops in Baltimore saw them selling like hot cakes and knew the AF1 would become synonymous with street fashion and culture. So, they asked for custom colours to sell from their shop fronts every month to encourage collecting… and the rest is history. Released January 26th 2023, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Colour of the Month - University Red” is dripped in premium leather in a “University Red” upper and outsole that bring the heat, while a shoe-cleaning toothbrush hangs to keep 'em looking fresh.
