Released August 7th 2020 exclusively via the SNKRS app and Italian retailers Back-Door, the Nike Air Ship “Banned” finally made its debut 36 years after Michael Jordan was famously banned from wearing them on court, and fined $5,000 for each game he wore them by then NBA Commission David Stern. Nike reportedly paid every fine given to Jordan. Dripped in premium leather, this sneaker is designed with the very same shape as back in 1984 and features OG “Air Jordan” branding on the heel. A true piece of sneaker history! So fire!
