Released May 1st 2021 exclusively in women’s sizes, and exclusively in Asia, the Nike Dunk Low WMNS “Flip The Old School” is inspired by 1999s Nike Dunk High City Attack pack in its white, purple and yellow colour blocking. While the right shoe sports the standard purple and white, with all the logos in their proper place, the left features an inversion of its counterpart not just with the colour, but with the Nike logos on the tongue, heel, insole, and Swoosh all flipped upside down. Both right and left shoes are dripped in ostrich leather, a new feature in place of the two ’99 Dunk High’s smooth leather upper. Nike covers the sneakers in tissue paper featuring an illustration of the silhouette’s original “Be True to Your School” campaign with the same visuals seen on the insoles. The laces lock the tissue paper onto the upper – in order to wear the sneakers, you must rip the paper off. These Dunks are crazy dope!
