Released February 20th 2021 exclusively in Asia and the EU, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Camcorder” is inspired by the Sony DCR VX1000 camcorder, which was crucial to street-made skate videos in the 90s. Despite its outdated technology the VX1000 continues to be a common recording device for its easy to hold handle, durability and round fish-eye making it perfect for capturing dope skating scenes! Nike applies various detailing that mirrors Sony’s iconic recording device, with the colours of a traditional “Stop” and “Pause” button on the eyelets and lace tips, a “Green” on the heel for a play button and a “Red” record button on the sole, as well as other terminology commonly seen on recording devices such as “Rec Level” and “Shutter Speed”. Insoles that feature classic recording timer digits finish off this crazy dope SB Dunk Low!
