Released March 1st 2002 for the “White Dunk: Evolution of an Icon” travelling art exhibition, once it stopped in Paris, this sneaker is crazy dope and a literal piece of artwork. The upper brings together French artist Bernard Buffet’s art pieces, who passed away in 1999, with only 202 pairs made and no two pairs the same (each pair features different parts of his artwork on the upper) a raffle was meant to take place at the exhibition, but was later cancelled due to high demand. Instead, the sneakers were sold at a few select stores in Paris like Opium and Colette, with some pairs even selling at Nike Factory Outlets for just $39.99. Insane! One of the rarest SB Dunks to exist!
