Originally launched in 2009, the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro “Philly” is a tribute to the late NBA legend who was born and raised in Philadelphia. In a heartfelt tribute to his hometown and early basketball journey, Nike Basketball is reintroduces the sneaker on April 13th 2024. Featuring a captivating "Varsity Royal," White, and "University Red" colour combination. The upper showcases a variety of Blue shades and features 3M reflective stars on the ankle for a striking touch. Notably, Kobe’s logo takes center stage on the tongue, while his signature can be seen the lateral side. The shoe also incorporates Flywire technology and Red accents to enhance its appeal. Completing the look is a White rubber sole, contributing to a sleek and polished aesthetic. A meaningful detail, Kobe Bryant’s birthdate, 8-23-78, is prominently displayed on the insoles.
