The first basketball shoe with “Air” became a force that transcended its days on the hardwood. A ground breaking performance shoe when it launched, the Air Force 1 just as quickly found an unshakeable place in sneaker culture. To this day, the classic white-on-white iteration remains the ultimate canvas for urban expression, and a defining icon of NYC and beyond. Released November 19th 2017 as part of Virgil’s The Ten Collection, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low "The Ten" takes an icon to an all-new level with a truly reductive approach that maintains the undeniable feeling of the white-on-white classic. Without a doubt a grail, Virgil Abloh introduced a unique, reconstructed look, designed to evoke a DIY nature. Dripped in a translucent White ripstop upper with suede around the eyestays and heels, an embossed Swoosh with “LOGO” lettering can be seen. Exposed foam on the tongue and heel lining, as well as exposed stitching echoes Virgil’s design approach, while classic Off-White design features include a zip-tie and further lettering on the midsole and heel. The AF1s translucent upper and midsole are designed to yellow, aging into a vintage aesthetic. So fire!
