Released September 13th 2022 exclusively on SNKRS app, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Brooklyn" is the latest posthumous offering from Virgil Abloh in celebration of the American designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition - a multi-media showcase of Abloh’s work that’s been programmed to be hosted by the Brooklyn Museum from July 1st, 2022 until January 29th, 2023. The “Brooklyn” colourway features identical design elements to the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “MCA” that released during the opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, and the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lemonade” colourway that released as part of the exhibit at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, to name a few. This AF1 continues Virgil's exploration of communication through design. Dripped in premium leather dressed in “Light Green Spark,” Swooshes in “Metallic Silver” are reminiscent of past premium Off-White x Nike AF1 collabs. Signature Off-White branding and detailing can be seen through exposed foam, exposed stitching and Virgil’s iconic zip-tie, while DIY style holes in the tongue add hits of Virgil's more recent coveted signature styles.
