Released June 23rd 2022, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Black" dropped alongside a "White" colourway. Virgil Abloh's legacy continues with this Air Force 1 Mid, celebrating 40 years of AF1, he re-imagined the legendary silhouette through the futurist lens. Dripped in a lightweight, airy mesh with woodgrain pattern that brings a utilitarian edge, while the spiked outsole connects directly to the ISPA philosophy of "Improvise. Scavenge. Protect. Adapt". "AIR" can be seen in bubble graffiti on the tongues while classic Off-White lettering features on the mid panels, as well as Virgil’s iconic zip-tie and orange tag on the DIY Swoosh. As always, Virgil left room for others to be creative - the design pairs traditional laces with a secondary set that loops through Flywire cables. The result: a modernised and experimental reflection on history's most revered shoe. Super dope!
