For the first time, “Air” was in full view with the Air Max 97. As future-forward as the day it launched, the “Silver Bullet” colourway continues to define the look of performance and sport style. With its unmissable reflection and sleek lines that ripple across the upper, the silhouette would also find a place within Italy's cultural spectrum - from the catwalks of Milan to nightclubs and train yards across the country. Released November 19th 2017 as part of Virgil’s The Ten Collection, the Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 "The Ten" blurs the iconic lines of the original to offer a seamless upper and a new point of view on the fast, futuristic feel that lets the full-length “Air” unit shine. Without a doubt a grail, Virgil Abloh introduced a unique, reconstructed look, designed to evoke a DIY nature. Dripped in a translucent upper, classic Off-White design features include exposed stitching, an Orange tag, zip-tie and lettering, while “AIR” can be seen next to the Swoosh. The AM97s translucent upper and midsole are designed to yellow, aging into a vintage aesthetic. So fire!
