Released December 21st 2022, the Off-White x Nike Air Terra Forma “Wheat” is inspired by Nike's late '80s and early '90s offerings, the Terra Forma reinvents past styles in a futuristic way only Off-White and Abloh could do. Virgil Abloh’s legacy continues with a unique take on the hiking boot in his first originally designed silhouette. Influences, new imaginings and special details reference the past while always looking forward. The classic hiking aesthetic is dripped in suede overlay, while the mesh underlay features a custom woodgrain to keep the look inventive. An oversized tongue, tucked behind a zip-up shroud, showcases the "Swimming Man" logo and references one of Virgil's favourite silhouettes - the Air Jordan 6. It all sits atop a triple-stacked, marbled midsole with visible Air. Translucent Swooshs can be seen with exposed stitching while the outsole's message reminds us to “Tread Lightly” and treat Earth with care and consideration. Super dope!
