Released May 30th 2019 alongside a "Green Gusto" colourway, the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Varsity Blue" debuted during the Sacai SP19 runway show at Paris Fashion Week 2019. A fusion of two iconic silhouettes - the Waffle Daybreak and LDV, the LDWaffle silhouette sees doubling of almost everything, including Swooshes, heel counters, eyestays, tongues and laces. Dripped in leather suede and open mesh, an exaggerated sculpted midsole can be seen underfoot that extends out past the heel. A waffle outsole provides traction, while co-branding appears on the heel and insole. Super dope!
