Released February 11th 2022 exclusively at Union LA, the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low “Passport Pack - Psychic Blue” represents one of three colourways that make up the “Passport Pack” – “Pistachio” “Lakers” and “Psychic Blue” colourways. Each colourway is inspired by the EU exclusive Nike Dunk High “Pistachio” from 2003, the Nike Dunk High “Reverse City Attack” from 1999, and the Japan exclusive Nike Dunk Low “Argon” from 2001 respectively. Union LA founder Chris Gibbs takes inspiration for this dope Dunk pack from his early days of sneaker collecting. Gibbs and his crew would scour the earth, racking up air miles in pursuit of the flyest gear. Since then, Union has continued to build its reputation by focusing on serving and celebrating the community born from international streetwear culture. Now, Union remixes their favourites from that era for a collection that pays homage to the three cities that have been a home for Union - New York City, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Hiding in plain sight behind a ripstop upper and stitching left unfinished, the “Passport Pack” puts a new spin on the classics that inspired Gibbs years ago. Peel away the DIY inspired upper to reveal the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low “Passport Pack - Psychic Blue” dripped in premium leather. Classic Union LA branding in the form of their yellow tag can be seen on the mid panel, while Union’s “The Frontman” figure is placed on an emblem on the heel and in the semi translucent sole.
